Riverwatcher Fish Counter
The Riverwatcher is available in 3 different options: 1) Camera System (Silhouettes and Video), 2) Standard System (Silhouettes only), and 3) Motion Detection Video System (Video only). The Riverwatcher Camera System utilizes video and infrared imagery to record and identify fish passages. This system works well in turbid condition when traditional video imagery is unavailable. Detects and counts large and small fry and smolt sized fish accurately.
Multiple Channel Option
Multiple channels can be run by one counter computer to increased fish detection rates and sampling area range.
Software packages counts and size information.
Proprietary software packages the count and size information. Silhouette imagery is used to verify counting accuracy. An option video camera can be added to identify and verify fish species.
PIT Tag Antenna Add-on
Vaki teamed up with Biomark to offer a bolt-on PIT Tag antenna that is compatible with the Riverwatcher software. The Riverwatcher software will assign a PIT Tag ID to every fish that is recorded to have a PIT Tag when passing through the Riverwatcher. This allows users to package all of the size, date, time, species, and fish condition information with the unique PIT Tag ID.

Riverwatcher Daily
Riverwatchers can be connected to the internet to automatically send or you can manually send data to the cloud based software called Riverwatcher Daily. This software allows researchers to easily communicate fish counts and other information to the public.
